REDcycle

As part of our commitment to reduce the environmental impact of our products, Rafferty’s Garden baby food and five:am organic yoghurt have signed up to the REDcycle initiative.

REDcycle is a program that invites people to gather together all their empty soft plastic packaging that is not recoverable via kerbside collection, and deposit it into the REDcycle drop off bin at their local participating supermarket for recycling. This includes all our five:am and Rafferty’s Garden squeezie pouches.

The soft plastics collected by REDcycle are processed in Australia by the program’s manufacturing partner Replas (http://www.replas.com.au/) and used to manufacture new recycled-plastic products such as fitness circuits and outdoor furniture used in schools, parks and public spaces. Soft plastics are a highly problematic waste stream, and by using REDcycle you can help turn your empty squeezie packaging into recycled equipment for schools and communities.

If you would like to find out what other soft plastic packaging can go in a REDcycle bin or find your nearest participating supermarket, click on the link below:

PZ Cussons is committed to supporting the closed-loop recovery and recycling for all five:am and Rafferty’s Garden squeezie pouches in Australia.
